Broadcloth

Broadcloth is clothing fabric of fine twilled wool or worsted or plain-woven cotton. It is a medium-weight, unbalanced plain-weave fabric with fine ribs. Broadcloth is woven tightly, resulting in its characteristic luster. Because of its smooth, lustrous appearance, broadcloth is often used to make shirts, skirts, and blouses.
